Jonathan’s practice focuses on civil litigation and labour and employment law. He has represented clients at all levels of Court in Manitoba and at various administrative tribunals.

Jonathan was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2020. He obtained his Juris Doctor at the University of British Columbia, where he received the B Vincent Reed QC Award for academic distinction and community service, the David Roberts Prize in Legal Writing, and the Blake Cassels & Graydon Prize in Labour Law.

Jonathan believes in the importance of community service, and has volunteered and worked for numerous charitable organizations. He currently sits on the board of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation. In 2024, Jonathan and his colleagues Evan Edwards and Kaisha Thompson were honoured to receive the Manitoba Bar Association Pro Bono Award for their contributions to public interest legal services in Manitoba.
