Paul Edwards is a partner at Duboff Edwards Schachter Law Corporation. His practice focuses on the areas of Labour, Employment and Civil Litigation.

Paul received his BA from Trent University and his LLB from Queen’s University. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1987 and won the A. Montague Israels Q.C. Prize for performance in the Bar Admission Course.

Along with being a practicing lawyer for over 30 years, Paul has had a successful political career. He was first elected to the Manitoba Legislative Assembly in 1988 (MLA for St. James), re-elected in 1990 and elected Leader of the Liberal Party of Manitoba in 1993.

Paul is dedicated to community service and has served on many charitable boards and fundraising campaigns throughout his career. He currently serves on the Campaign Cabinet for United Way of Winnipeg. He was appointed Vice-Chair of the Winnipeg Police Board (2013 – 2016) and served as a member of the Children’s Hospital Foundation “Be My Hero” Campaign (2010 – 2012).
