Aliza began at Duboff Edwards Schachter as a student-at-law in 2019 and returned in 2021 to complete her articles with the firm.  She received her call to the Manitoba Bar in 2022.

Aliza holds an LL.M from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law with a 4.0 GPA, a First-Class (Honours) LL.B. from the University of Leeds where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and obtained a B.Comm (Honours) from McMaster University.

Before law, Aliza worked for several national corporations including Ricoh Canada and BMW Canada in accounting and senior marketing-based roles.  Aliza speaks Kutchi fluently and is currently learning French.
